Getting to know the Man.
Where were you born and raised and where do you currently reside?
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and I currently reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Where did you get your artistic talent from?
I would say that I got my artistic talent from God of course, but I think I really started to develop these talents through my older cousin, Alton Willis teaching and guiding me to reach the level that I am at.
What is your main goal in life?
My main goal in life is to die on empty. I want to do, accomplish and be everything that God has created me to do on this earth, and representing Him as best as I possibly can through those things.
How do you stay spiritually connected?
I stay connected to Christ through my daily prayer, worship and praising. I also think the men that God has surrounded me with keeps me sharp spiritually, physically and mentally. I firmly believe that we are only as good as the men or women that we surround ourselves with. So I attribute a lot of who I am to the spiritual men that God has placed in my life.
What is something that most people don't know about you?
Hmm, something that most people don't know about me.. would have to be that I am 28 years old and I am a Virgin. I made a decision to wait until I get married to have sex. Now this journey has not been easy by any means, but God's Grace is sufficient and He has allowed me to make it this far, so I have to see it all the way through.
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
Simply put, I want my legacy to be that I lived my life as a Man of God and accomplished many Great things for His Glory. That I was a faithful and loving husband and I trained up my children to be Men and Women of God and go out in the world and make an impact in every life that crosses their path.
